we make once a month weekend meet up 2 Saturday of the month so saturday 14 November 2009.

The Bell is truly one of the last remaining pubs in the City. If you want to know what a decent pub should be like, then visit The Bell. Stepping into the single saloon bar is like stepping back in time, there is a beautiful traditional feel to this small pub. The Bell has stood on this site since the Great Fire of London in 1666, there is a list of landlords since 1668 on the wall and this only adds to the please of a pint. To top things off, the beer is kept in the most perfect condition, try a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord or maybe a Youngs or a Deuchars, doesn't matter which, they are superb. The sandwiches are the door stop variety and make a perfect accompaniment to a pint of ale. There are a couple remaining in the City of London, but pubs like this are become few a far between.
